Running Of The Bulls

Big sigh of relief,

My kids were at the running of the bulls in Pamplona, Spain yesterday. My daughter Jacqui was smart enough (scared?) not to go in the mad event but my son Kris and Jacqui’s boyfriend did. I was extremely happy to learn they survived.

Mostly I’m jealous that I was not there. There is a good chance I will make it next year. I made a decision a couple of weeks ago to change my life and start living it.

It’s been awhile since I had any real adventure. We all get into ruts where we begin doing the same things over and over and… that doesn’t sound like living to me.

So, on the 16th August I’m meeting my kids in Istanbul, Turkey to do a few weeks backpacking! I have never done anything like that before and I have to admit it’s a little scary, but in a good way. I think it means I’m feeling alive
