5 Things You Must Know Before Buying MLM Leads

Apacheleads MLM Leads

No one likes to waste money or end up buying the wrong thing from the wrong company and regretting it later.

To avoid disappointment when purchasing mlm leads for your home business, take a quick look at these key points. They will definitely save you a lot of hassles.  I’ve been in the leads industry since 2003, I’ve seen the good, the bad and the downright ugly.  Plenty of leads sites have come and gone because of their shonky ethics.

Be warned and be safe <img class=” />

1. Like any industry some leads companies are better than others. But how do you know which are the good ones? Look for the ones that have been in business at least 10 years.  Make sure they offer guarantees.  A quick way to find the good ones is to Google the term: MLM Leads  Those in the top 4 or 5 are good to deal with.

2. There are different types of leads in the Network Marketing / MLM / Home Business industries. The best are those which have been surveyed.  That means they have taken the time to complete a form which includes things like; how much money they want to make, how motivated they are, how many hours a week they can devote to the business.  This is vital information for you to conduct a good interview with the leads and to build a relationship

3. Fresh and Aged Leads is a term you will see quite a lot on leads sites. Fresh means the leads were generated within 0-72 hours of you receiving them.  Aged leads are considerably less expensive because they were generated a longer time ago and have been sold previously.  That’s not all bad though because most will not have been recruited and the pricing is usually just pennies.

4. Most Network Marketers come to the industry with no skills for calling leads, using a script, doing follow ups or being a leader. They either learn these skills or they fail within 3 months.  Educating yourself instead of blaming the leads is the best thing you can do for yourself.  You can get some free training with my PDF’s here

5. Leads get into business with people they trust to show them the ropes and to provide leadership. Leads do not get into business because of the comp plan or the products. This is a fundamental mistake many networkers make…remember when you are speaking with a lead/prospect, use your ears and mouth in the same proportions ….meaning, listen more than you talk.

Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Leads

[Total: 1    Average: 5/5]

  1. I purchases both the premium and economy leads, this is day 3 of working through the economy leads, so far no sales but a lot of interest and follow ups, here’s what I do know for sure, it’s about having a positive attitude, and being able to evaluate your own performance and always looking for areas in which you can improve. I used to write scripts for a call center and I still have so much more to learn, that I am grateful for all the information I receive.

  2. Definitely attitude helps and keeps the motivation. Remaining focussed and doing the calls gets results. Keep up the great work!

  3. Hi Don My colleague in USA said you would give a full list of emails and telephone numbers and the amount they would invest . I seem to be lacking the latter The amount they will invest. However that would seem alesser problem as I have only been able to contact 3 people and that was by phone. No answers from my emails and a third of the phone lines were dead. I am still in business of MLM and would like to know your policy on these leads? Jo Baker

  4. Hi Jo

Thanks for leaving a comment. I took a look at what you ordered and found you are talking about UK leads not US leads. At first I assumed you had been referring to US leads which do include the amount of money the lead is able or prepared to invest. Sorry, UK leads do not have that data.

To be fully transparent it should be noted that even with leads which do include an investment amount it should be taken with a grain of salt. There is no way as a leads company we can verify the amount. It’s just an amount the lead feels comfortable entering. So as to how rleiable that is, I cant say but I would not recommend relying on it to be factual.

Over the many years in this business we have learned that in the majority of cases, if a lead is genuinely interested in your business opportunity, they will find the money.

The other point you raised is emailing leads. That is not a method of first contact we would ever recommend. Ask yourself this. Do you like receiving spam? Most likely you answered no, no one does. Neither do your leads. They do not know you and have no relationship with you, so your email is not going to be opened. Also unless you have some experience with sending commerical email, it’s most likely going to end up in the spam folder.

I wrote a couple of posts about emailing leads which will help you understand how and when to email leads.

Re the UK leads with bad numbers, yes it’s a problem with UK leads. I guess they dont like people calling them, it’s probably an English thing. Like all our leads we absolutely guarantee to replace any bad leads. You can mark them bad in your leads manager account and they will be replaced

Thanks again Jo, hope I was able to help and thank you for your support

  5. I can’t thank you enough for your posts Don… The first little gem I learnt from you is that we are calling the leads to see if they qualify… as I was quite new to network marketing, this didn’t make sense to me at the time, but I researched and read a lot to understand what you meant by that… now telling us that leads are looking for leaders, for someone they trust …not the products, not the comp plan… just gold… thank you… I understand completely…working with you makes this so much easier… thanks for keeping it simple… Andrea

  6. Thanks Andrea.

Always nice to hear from you. I love being able to help. Please do stay in touch and keep us up to date on your journey 🙂
