Island Beach Off The Coast Of Cambodia

Lets Meet On The Beaches

If you have followed me for any period of time you have probably noticed most of my videos, email and posts mention beaches or are shot on beaches.

This is not done to brag about being on different beaches around the world.

It’s much more important than that!

It’s done to help you build your dream for a better lifestyle, freedom and being debt free.

To be as open and honest as possible for you, I need to tell you this truth.  If you don’t have a BIG dream which is powerful enough to keep you motivated and to drive you towards your goals, then darlin’ you simply are not going to make it.

You will become one of the 97% who fail at Network Marketing.

Are you beginning to see how important building your dream is?

Don In Hawaii

The reason I chose beaches to symbolize your dream is that everyone has been to a beach, everyone or most everyone likes beaches and enjoys being on them.   They represent a carefree time from all stages of our lives.

No one needs to be a millionaire to get to a beach and have a great time.

Of course, to travel to exotic beaches in faraway lands and to do it regularly or even on a whim does take a couple of things.   It takes time freedom and disposable income.

Be honest, wouldn’t you prefer to be on a beautiful white sandy beach with a special person rather than whatever it is your job is making you do right now?

Don And Theary At The Beach

Now we all learn in school that an object at rest doesn’t want to move.  It takes energy to get it moving.   Think of a bowling ball on the ground.  It’s not going to move until you push it with enough force to make it move, right?

OK, well that’s actually the same with most people and who can blame them?  Many people work hard at a crappy job and come home feeling tired, irritable, frustrated and unhappy.  They feel trapped.

So they flop down on the couch and escape reality by watching TV or streaming Netflix.

Then they go to bed only to wake up in the morning and repeat the whole process.

What a terrible and sad waste of life.

So without the force of a huge dream that is burning them inside because they don't have their dream, they will keep doing the sad life over and over.

This is why the dream is so important.

Here’s how my sponsor, the guy who recruited me into Amway smashed the dream concept into my brain.

When we started Amway he was a few months ahead of me but we were both broke.   I was so broke I lost 2 businesses and had to sell our home.  We had to move in with my in-laws.

Yeah, that was probably the most humiliating thing I ever had to do.

I was 38 years old and I had lost everything.

My sponsor was a great guy, big and always fun to hang out with.

He would regularly turn up in his old Ford with a paper BMW logo taped to the center of the steering wheel.

What sort of nut does that?

He would get me into his car and off we would go.   It could be anywhere that there was a chance for him to do bream building with me.

Dream Building...

Somedays we would go to luxury car dealerships.   We would talk to a sales rep and organize a test drive.   The new car smell mixed with that of the genuine leather seats was intoxicating.

Driving a brand new BMW is thrilling.  You really need to go and do it as soon as possible. Listen for the solid clunk when you close the doors.  It just smacks of quality.

Before we left he would insist I got the sales reps business card with a view to recruiting him in a few days' time.

On other days, often with our wives, we would go to new home display villages.  We would wander through the gorgeous homes and dream of living in them.

One time I recruited a rep.  We became good friends and he became my biggest downline leg.

Definitely worth it!

We found it’s best to always be building the dream with your significant other and everyone in your downline.

Really drill down with them when you are helping them build their dream.   Ask questions, be interested.

Ask things like "What is the thing you most want from the business?"

If they say a new car, don't just leave it at that. Ask them the name and model of the car. Ask them what color it would be.  What features and options would it have?

Get them to go to the dealership and get some brochures, take a test drive, and prospect the sales rep!

Don's BMW and Boat

My dream had been to own a boat and a cool BMW. I took this picture of my 38 foot luxury cruiser and my very cool BMW Coupe

Become a master dream builder, and be positive whenever you are with your downline. Always be dream building. That’s the force they need to keep doing the work to build the business and not become part of the 97%

Oh and to answer my question about what sort of nut puts a paper BMW logo on his steering wheel…..can you already guess? Yes, his very next car was a 5 Series BMW

Dreams do come true. Yes, there is a price to pay, but it’s so worth it!

Come and join us, let’s meet on the beaches of the world

Do you have the guts and commitment to dream big and get the lifestyle you deserve?

Why You Need MLM Residual Income

Why You Need MLM Residual Income

Why You Need MLM Residual Income

Nearly everyday I walk past this lovely boat marina located at Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia.  My wife Theary and I are riding out the COVID-19 Pandemic here.

Most days we go for a walk for exercise and pass these boats on our way to the beach.  It’s a lovely view and has some fabulous boats tied up in the marina.  The thing I’ve noticed is that the same boats are there day after day.

Why You Need MLM Residual Income

The reason for that is these are pleasure craft, they are not work boats.  For example, they are not used by professionals for fishing.  These boats are used for fun and amateur fishing.

So why aren’t they out being used for these purposes instead of being tied up everyday?

The simple fact is, their owners make enough money to buy expensive boats BUT, they don’t have the time to use them as much as they would like to.  They are cash rich but time poor.

That’s how it goes in a traditional business or a highly paid executive type job.  You work hard for many years trading your time for dollars.  Eventually you retire and get to enjoy your boat for a few years.

In a typical MLM or Network Marketing business those who build the business to the higher levels can enjoy residual income.  It’s like a royalty payment.  In effect, when you reach those high levels, you become both cash rich AND time rich because you are no longer trading your precious time for dollars.

To get to that level faster, consider joining the Go Getters Club. You can discover all the benefits to you by clicking here

No Not Now

No Not Now - How long are you going to keep making these excuses?

When I was a young guy working at Chubb Electronic Security in BrisbaneAustralia I used to do things like work out how many days I had left before I could retire at 65.  I was wishing my life away.

The weird thing was, the job was pretty good. I actually enjoyed it and became Chubbs top Sales Rep world wide.  That was according to the actual Mr Chubb.

I had a nice salary, commission on every sale and a company car.

So why was I counting the days to retirement?  (I was 25 at the time so there was quite a few days to go)

Imagine you are at one of the best zoos in the world.  Let’s say Australia Zoo or Taronga Park Zoo in Sydney.  Both have amazing enclosures for the animals which mimic their natural environments.

They are a real delight to visit.

But deep down when I’m at even these amazing zoos I feel the animals would rather be free.  No matter how nice their enclosure is, it’s still just a gilded cage.

I think that’s how I felt with my job at Chubb.  I’ve had a pretty large number of jobs in my life.  Many of them I enjoyed immensely. All of them still felt like a trap or a cage. No matter how good the jobs were, they still stole my freedom.

Do you ever feel the same way?

When you wake up each morning are you feeling excited to do the commute to your job?

How do you feel when you walk out the door and leave your family behind each work day?

How do you feel about sitting in traffic thinking about how good it would be to be sitting on a beach in Thailand instead?

How do you feel when you find yourself figuring out how many days are left before retirement?

Ask yourself this: exactly when are you going to do something about it?  When are you going to get off your backside and pay the price for your freedom?

Oh I can hear you now..

No not now, it’s Valentines

No not now it's Labor Day

No not now it's 4th July

No not now it's Halloween

No not now it's Thanksgiving

No not now it's the Holidays

No not now it’s New Year.

How long are you going to keep making these excuses?

No time is convenient to build your business.

Any time you choose is going to be difficult and disruptive to your life.  But it's never going to be as disruptive as your job.

Pick a date.  A date you can focus for a measly 30 days and let everyone know.  “Hey I’m not going to be around much for 30 days. I’m working on a project that’s going to change my life.  You can come along too if you want. No big deal if you don’t want to, but I’m doing it”

Prepare.  Get whatever you need to grow your business for 30 days.  Brochures, presentation materials, sample, phone scripts, whatever.  Get your list of prospects ready. Buy some leads.

When the date arrives, pull the trigger, don’t wimp out again.  Run hard for 30 days and I promise you; you will see amazing results.  Your life will change forever. You will never look back.

You will already begin to feel the freedom!

Find Your Why

Master Dream Building – Find Your Why

Master Dream Building – Find Your Why

Why did you get into business?

Do you remember?

Was it something you had always wanted, was it freedom, was it security, was it to help others, was it to travel?

What was it?

If you can't answer that instantly you need to go back to the basics and get a dream. If you don't have a dream, you are not going to build a business because you have no reason to do the hard yards.

Nothing worth having in life is easy to get. Olympic champions train for their whole lives, not just for a year before the Olympics. They do what it takes everyday, over and over. Their dream drives them.

World champion boxers, train all their lives, every day, doing the same thing over and over. Their dream drives them.

Read the biography of Elon Musk, he has been training for this all his life... he has a dream

Everyone who succeeds in life has a dream, there are no exceptions...what is your dream

I'd love to hear it and celebrate it with you

That Time We Went to China

Part One – Hong Kong

Just last night we returned from a couple of weeks in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing and Macau.  Technically all of those places are in China.

Theary had never been to any of the places on the tour so it was great fun watching her eyes light up at each new experience.  Even if you have been to a place before, when you go with someone for their first time, it’s really great fun.

Mind you, I had only been to Hong Kong previously and on a day trip to mainland China and that was way back in 1997.  So I was confident a lot had changed in China since then.

Our trip was from Phnom Penh (Cambodia), Bangkok (Thailand), Hong Kong, Shanghai (China), Beijing (China), Macau, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Phnom Penh.

Apache Leads Hong Kong and China

Starting Out

We hit the trail the 1st September 2017.  We had an early morning flight out of Phnom Penh with Bangkok Airways to Bangkok.  Always a nice airline with their own lounges which are free for their passengers.

We chose to not go into Bangkok on this trip and so stayed in transit.  The point of that is it means you don’t need to go through immigration, customs and baggage pick up.

It’s much easier and way less stressful which is a big thing when traveling as it can be very stressful and lead to a not so great time being had.  So when planning a trip, try to look for the ways which will make it easier, also it’s less expensive to stay in transit than go into a city.  Of course if you have not been to that city then sure, take a night or two out and explore.

The leg from Bangkok to Hong Kong was with Cathay Pacific who are based in Hong Kong.  I organised this flight with points I had with Alaska Airlines.  I only had to pay for the taxes.  It was a 2.5 hours flight and….. Click HERE to Continue and Get The Full Story
