Hanging Out at Jamie Foxx’s $10M Mansion

Recently I watched a great video Noah Kagan made about a mind blowing visit to Jamie Foxx’s mansion.

There are a bunch of takeaways that might be helpful to your business building activities.  One of the, let’s call it “different” discoveries is the place has jelly (jam) everywhere.

Lots of interesting stuff in this video, check it out

Why You Need MLM Residual Income

Why You Need MLM Residual Income

Why You Need MLM Residual Income

Nearly everyday I walk past this lovely boat marina located at Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia.  My wife Theary and I are riding out the COVID-19 Pandemic here.

Most days we go for a walk for exercise and pass these boats on our way to the beach.  It’s a lovely view and has some fabulous boats tied up in the marina.  The thing I’ve noticed is that the same boats are there day after day.

Why You Need MLM Residual Income

The reason for that is these are pleasure craft, they are not work boats.  For example, they are not used by professionals for fishing.  These boats are used for fun and amateur fishing.

So why aren’t they out being used for these purposes instead of being tied up everyday?

The simple fact is, their owners make enough money to buy expensive boats BUT, they don’t have the time to use them as much as they would like to.  They are cash rich but time poor.

That’s how it goes in a traditional business or a highly paid executive type job.  You work hard for many years trading your time for dollars.  Eventually you retire and get to enjoy your boat for a few years.

In a typical MLM or Network Marketing business those who build the business to the higher levels can enjoy residual income.  It’s like a royalty payment.  In effect, when you reach those high levels, you become both cash rich AND time rich because you are no longer trading your precious time for dollars.

To get to that level faster, consider joining the Go Getters Club. You can discover all the benefits to you by clicking here

Breaking Free

No Not Now

When I was a young guy working at Chubb Electronic Security in Brisbane, Australia I used to do things like work out how many days I had left before I could retire at 65.  I was wishing my life away.

The weird thing was, the job was pretty good. I actually enjoyed it and became Chubbs top Sales Rep world wide.  That was according to the actual Mr Chubb.

I had a nice salary, commission on every sale and a company car.

So why was I counting the days to retirement?  (I was 25 at the time so there was quite a few days to go)

Imagine you are at one of the best zoos in the world.  Let’s say Australia Zoo or Taronga Park Zoo in Sydney.  Both have amazing enclosures for the animals which mimic their natural environments.

They are a real delight to visit.

But deep down when I’m at even these amazing zoos I feel the animals would rather be free.  No matter how nice their enclosure is, it’s still just a gilded cage.

I think that’s how I felt with my job at Chubb.  I’ve had a pretty large number of jobs in my life.  Many of them I enjoyed immensely. All of them still felt like a trap or a cage. No matter how good the jobs were, they still stole my freedom.

Do you ever feel the same way?

When you wake up each morning are you feeling excited to do the commute to your job?

How do you feel when you walk out the door and leave your family behind each work day?

How do you feel about sitting in traffic thinking about how good it would be to be sitting on a beach in Thailand instead?

How do you feel when you find yourself figuring out how many days are left before retirement?

Ask yourself this: exactly when are you going to do something about it?  When are you going to get off your backside and pay the price for your freedom?

Oh I can hear you now..

No not now, it’s Valentines

No not now it's Labor Day

No not now it's 4th July

No not now it's Halloween

No not now it's Thanksgiving

No not now it's the Holidays

No not now it’s New Year.

How long are you going to keep making these excuses?

No time is convenient to build your business.

Any time you choose is going to be difficult and disruptive to your life.  But it's never going to be as disruptive as your job.

Pick a date.  A date you can focus for a measly 30 days and let everyone know.  “Hey I’m not going to be around much for 30 days. I’m working on a project that’s going to change my life.  You can come along too if you want. No big deal if you don’t want to, but I’m doing it”

Prepare.  Get whatever you need to grow your business for 30 days.  Brochures, presentation materials, sample, phone scripts, whatever.  Get your list of prospects ready. Buy some leads.

When the date arrives, pull the trigger, don’t wimp out again.  Run hard for 30 days and I promise you; you will see amazing results.  Your life will change forever. You will never look back.

You will already begin to feel the freedom!

Will You Still Do It When You’re 80?

My mother is 94 at the time of writing.  I’m planning to go to Australia in May to celebrate her 95th birthday.

I clearly remember when we celebrated her 80th.  At the time I was amazed at how old she was. My father was still alive at that time. They owned their own home in a nice suburb in Brisbane, Australia.

They were both in reasonable health, still exercised daily, drove their car, washed their clothes, cleaned their house, did their own shopping and prepared their own meals.

At the time of writing I’m 65 which seems incredibly old!  How on earth did I become so old? I still feel like a 30 something, except when I get on a treadmill.  But now when I look back at myself when I was 45 or even 55 I think those ages are so young. At those ages, of course , I felt they were incredibly old.

My mother considers me young.  I protest and say “jeez Mum, Dad had been retired for 5 years at my age!”  He had been,  but she brushes this protest aside and insists I’m young. I’m sure from her point of view 65 is close to being a toddler.

The point of this story is that no matter how old we are, it always seems old once you’re past 30, right?

So whatever it is that you’re doing now to earn a living.  Is it what you want to be doing at 80 or 90?

How will you find the energy and strength to do the job that sustains you now?

I’m asking because if you’re like most people you don’t have enough money to retire comfortably.  By comfortable I mean, living in a nice place and enough money left over so you can do the things you like to do.

It's very likely you’re going to make it to 90 at least.  Medical support is getting better all the time, people live much longer now than ever before.  Women especially need to consider they are likely to be alone for the last 10 or 20 years.

How are you going to finance your lifestyle in these twilight years?

Would it be better to do the work to build an income that will sustain you to the end NOW while you are young(ish) and fit or wait until you’re 80?

There never is a good easy time to grow a business.  There will always be things in the way, making it difficult and uncomfortable.  It’s hard for everyone, no one gets to build a business while they sit on the couch watching TV.

Here’s how to get started

Pick a date.

A date you can focus for a measly 30 days and let everyone know.  “Hey I’m not going to be around much for 30 days. I’m working on a project that’s going to change my life.  You can come along too if you want. No big deal if you don’t want to, but I’m doing it”

This time next year, you and I could meet up on a beach in Thailand!

Share this with your friends and associates, they are facing the same challenges as you.

Find Your Why

Master Dream Building – Find Your Why

Why did you get into business?

Do you remember?

Was it something you had always wanted, was it freedom, was it security, was it to help others, was it to travel?

What was it?

If you can't answer that instantly you need to go back to the basics and get a dream. If you don't have a dream, you are not going to build a business because you have no reason to do the hard yards.

Nothing worth having in life is easy to get. Olympic champions train for their whole lives, not just for a year before the Olympics. They do what it takes everyday, over and over. Their dream drives them.

World champion boxers, train all their lives, every day, doing the same thing over and over. Their dream drives them.

Read the biography of Elon Musk, he has been training for this all his life... he has a dream

Everyone who succeeds in life has a dream, there are no exceptions...what is your dream

I'd love to hear it and celebrate it with you

Panic About The Economy

Is It Time To Panic About The Economy?

If you’re anything like me, then you know what could be described as “not much” when it comes to the economy.

One thing I know is that the media love to predict crashes and terrible calamity when it comes to the economy.

Then of course, when it’s truly bad, like 2008’s Global Financial Crisis they missed it entirely.

Sadly, the current situation is very scary.

Governments, banks and consumers have absolute mountains of debt.  Nothing has ever been seen like these levels of debt ever before. If economies and wages keep growing then high debt can be managed.

But as we all know, that is not happening

Trump and his trade wars have slowed the global economy.  Wages have not even come close to keeping up over the last 10 years.  That’s actually why consumers have been going further into debt. Debt that most will never be able to pay off.

To make matters worse, now loans have negative interest rates!   Who the hell has ever heard of that?!?

global real 10 year bond yields data

So, you borrow money and they pay you the interest….how is that sustainable for the financial industry.  Clearly it’s not.

Then to top off our current situation, the indicators are showing we’re on the verge of a recession.

For a more full and unbiased explanation of our current situation, check out this easy to understand report by Australia’s ABC:  Global financial markets may be in the midst of a major moment in history

The point of me writing this article is for you to finally come to your senses and notice what’s really going on.  If you’ve been in your business for any amount of time and you’ve just been paddling along slowly. If you’ve just been phoning it in rather than actually busting a gut to grow the damn thing then, it’s time to pull your finger out!

If this situation doesn’t scare the crap out of you then, I guess nothing will.

You must be thinking your boss is going to look after you as his empire collapses around his ears.

What about your credit card company, do you think they will just forgive your debt?

Your bank is awesome, they will probably call you and tell you not to worry about your mortgage until things pick up again.

Trust me, no one is going to look after you.

You’re on your own and the only thing that can save you is to build your business.

Look on the bright side, there are millions of people scared and worried about the economy.  None of those people can fix it. But they are looking for a lifeline.

Life Boat

You have the lifeline, get out and rescue some people.  Drag them onto your lifeboat. They will bring their friends.

Soon you will alll and on a beautiful tropical island with …

A beautiful, white sand beach.

I’ll be there with some cool drinks to welcome you to paradise

That Time We Went to China

Part One – Hong Kong

Just last night we returned from a couple of weeks in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing and Macau.  Technically all of those places are in China.

Theary had never been to any of the places on the tour so it was great fun watching her eyes light up at each new experience.  Even if you have been to a place before, when you go with someone for their first time, it’s really great fun.  Mind you, I had only been to Hong Kong previously and on a day trip to mainland China and that was way back in 1997.  So I was confident a lot had changed in China since then.

Our trip was from Phnom Penh (Cambodia), Bangkok (Thailand), Hong Kong, Shanghai (China), Beijing (China), Macau, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Phnom Penh.

Apache Leads Hong Kong and China

Starting Out

We hit the trail the 1st September 2017.  We had an early morning flight out of Phnom Penh with Bangkok Airways to Bangkok.  Always a nice airline with their own lounges which are free for their passengers.  We chose to not go into Bangkok on this trip and so stayed in transit.  The point of that is it means you don’t need to go through immigration, customs and baggage pick up.

It’s much easier and way less stressful which is a big thing when traveling as it can be very stressful and lead to a not so great time being had.  So when planning a trip, try to look for the ways which will make it easier, also it’s less expensive to stay in transit than go into a city.  Of course if you have not been to that city then sure, take a night or two out and explore.

The leg from Bangkok to Hong Kong was with Cathay Pacific who are based in Hong Kong.  I organised this flight with points I had with Alaska Airlines.  I only had to pay for the taxes.  It was a 2.5 hours flight and….. Click HERE to Continue and Get The Full Story
